Who remembers my first post about giving up smoking?
I’ve battled a smoking addiction for 10 years and in that time I’ve attempted to give up cigarettes more times than I can remember. My last attempt to give up was the big one, the now or never, the real deal.
That was four months ago.

Time to get personal; I wouldn’t necessarily say I that have an addictive personality because I generally count on my self-control to keep myself from causing any damage. Apart from an acute alcohol dependency during my young budding burlesque days, a sickening addiction to chocolate after a nasty breakup causing some awful weight gain and a rapacious addiction to sex during a time of self discovery, I have managed to put a lid on it, control it and find peace.
Your eyes are darting around the room going from face to face and you start to feel a deep pressure on your chest, your breathing begins to fluctuate and your body fires up with a cold sweat. Within seconds you’ve realised that you’re starting to panic which worsens the symptoms, you’re over analysing the situation; “Why am I panicking? What is there to panic about? This is stupid, why can’t I stop? I’m so embarrassed! Why is everyone looking at me?! I need to get out!”
